The other side has the Super Bowl XX logo along with the final score from the game in 1986. The helmet has a hologram from Schwartz Sports, which authenticated the FIRST SIGNATURE on the helmet: Jim McMahon. The other 27 autographs all were obtained IN PERSON throughout 2005 and 2006 at Chicago Bears fan conventions in Chicago, as well as in-store signings and appearances at events like the Chicago Auto Show and Taste of Chicago. In 2005, the Bears were celebrating the 20th anniversary of the championship team, so were doing plenty of appearances. The helmet has been kept in a display case for 15 years. There are a few smudges and scuffs that occurred in the line of duty, so to speak, of getting all the signatures over the course of 27 separate in-person signings. Those minor imperfections can be seen in the photos. There is no COA with the helmet beyond the Schwartz hologram. I’m not a professional autograph dealer. I’m just a longtime in person collector who has gone to hundreds of signings in the Chicagoland area for the last 20 years. All these signatures will pass third-party authentication.
