Skylab was operated by three astronaut crews, Skylab 2, Charles Conrad, Paul J. Weitz, Joseph Kerwin, Skylab 3, Alan L. Garriott and Skylab 4, Gerald P. Pogue, and Edward G. While in orbit, crews conducted orbital workshops, a solar observatory, Earth observations and hundreds of experiments.
