An 8×10 genuine autographed photo signed, in person, in black by the late astronaut SCOTT CARPENTER (01/05/25 – 10/10/13) who was one of NASA’s original Mercury 7 astronauts. Photo is of him being. Assisted into his pressure suit in the crew quarters of Hangar S at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on the morning of the flight of Mecury Atlas 7. In the spacecraft he renamed Aurora 7. Due to a series of malfunctions, the spacecraft landed 250 miles (400 km) downrange from its intended splahdown point, but both pilot and spacecraft were retrieved. Met him at Autographica in Coventry on 9th Ocober 2004. In addition to his autograph he also added mission name and the flight date 24th May 1962. Provenance photos taken at the time of myself with him are included at no extra cost. All photos will come with my signed Certificate of Authentication C.
