The night before VAN HALEN played a concert in Hamburg, Germany (at the “Sporthalle” on April 7th, 1993), I met them at their Hotel (which was the “Atlantic Hotel Kempinski”) to talk to them and get some “Station-IDs” for a local radio station. As far as I remember, VAN HALEN received a gold or platinum record that night and all went to a reception held by their record company in a ballroom of their hotel. Just like this signature, I received all autographs and signed rarities Im offering here face-to-face (in person). I started collecting signed items back in 1985 and only decided to give some of them away several years ago. There can’t be a better reference than that.
