This is a one of a kind really dynamic. Way back in the early 90s. I bought a piece of thick of white foam-core approx 20×15 inches. (Its big, might not sound like it, but its big). I took the 2 page spread from an issue of SPIN (back when it was larger size) of the. I carefully cut around the outline of each members image with an exacto knife and spray glue mounted their jumping images to the foam-core. I got Anthony Kiedis to sign in. Chad Smith in green, and Flea in blue (he drew the mouth with the blacked out tooth) in the early 90s when they were in Dallas to play the Bronco Bowl. I got them after soundcheck (Good story involving female body parts, Kiedis, a big plastic bag and impending rain when he signed it). I missed John Frusciante that day. I didn’t get him until the early 2000s when he rejoined the band. Another good story, involving me helping him shop for country records. I got him in orange. So its in person vintage inks by the 3 and a semi-vintage Frusciante ink. The Kiedis ink is really nice. Its that really controlled parallel lines style ink, he still signed that way for years, but he got way looser with it. This is the cool older version. I so wished I had gotten Frusiante on it back then as his ink was so much nicer then. The Flea ink is really big, and John signed it really large as well. Nice big inks, each under their image in a different color pen. So in the interest of being thorough…. There is some light bits of hard water “spotting” type staining, especially along the left edge. These might be’cleaned up’ somehow. Or whited out but I’m not going to mess with it. The corners have some small dings. And with anything white the whiteness gets less bright. The photos have not faded a bit, and are much more vibrant than my images suggest. There is a little scrape next to the C in Chad. There’s a small’ding’ by John’s ink that you have to tilt it in the light to see well. The paper backing on the backside has a section missing but has no effect on the front. I’ve kept this in a clear box frame for years and have done my best to keep it in good shape, but man its tough. Anybody willing to have this matted and framed would have the ultimate. Peppers item of the classic 90s line-up. I’ve heard Flea is tough and that Kiedis has shut down signing, and that since the book signing his ink was slop anyway.. And John’s been out of the band for years, but is now back in again! . I didn’t always get photos with people early on, the Anthony and Flea pic is from later meeting but the John is from when he signed this, I have a second photo, where you can see the display in the frame a little. Never got a pic with Chad for some reason. I’ve been an in person autograph collector for over thirty years, mainly music, and specifically alternative stuff. I’m getting older now and I’ve realized I don’t need to keep it all as I have way too much stuff. Pricing stuff cheap to move it all. When I say I have “photo proof” I mean I have a photo of me with them. I didn’t take pictures of people signing stuff, as I think its rude, and which would you rather have? A photo of you looking like you are hanging out with the person? Or a photo of them looking down signing a record? My stuff is real, I know because I got it signed myself! It will pass any TPA or authentication. COA and details of meeting available to winner upon request. Contact me with any questions you have.
